AD101.com hosts the online life simulation game.  On AD101.com, students create a character and make choices in many different realistic situations to advance in order to advance in their characters’ lives

Stages of life

The game is divided into three areas: High School, College, and Career.  Starting as a freshman in high school and moving through college, students find themselves in various situations located in settings such as school, home, the mall, part-time job, dorm, or out on the town.

Realistic situations

The situations explore important topics such as honesty, citizenship, health, friendship, education, family relationships, loyalty, creativity, peer pressure, adventure, health and dating. In the Career section of the game, students can apply for many different types of jobs ranging from software developer to health care worker. They encounter “on the job” real-life situations and learn how to handle them.

Experience consequences

The students’ choices drive the game. Each decision they make effects their opportunities, wealth, relationships and ultimately their future.  Decisions can end up in jail, get sent to the hospital or even lose their lives.

Character Profile 

A player’s profile tracks progress while giving personality feedback on 10 scoring categories that include honesty, health, citizenship, friendship, and family values. Students also develop a resume based on their job history.

Safety net

We believe that students can only learn decision-making skills by practicing. Fortunately, the game provides students with a safe environment to make mistakes that in the real world could destroy their lives.
